Everyone says 25g of protein at breakfast and every suggestion is eggs. I cannot face an egg before 10am. What are you all actually eating?

New: the Peri Planner. Describe your week and we'll build your menu. Try it now
Perimenopause is lonely until you find the others. Here they are: in the ratings and comments on every recipe, and on the board, where the 3am crowd compares notes. Reading is open to everyone; a free account lets you post.
Human-moderated, kind by rule, pseudonymous by default. Reviews and threads are experiences, not medical advice; anything that reads as a treatment claim gets a moderator note. No supplements spam, ever.
Rate a recipe, say what you changed, and whether anything shifted for you. Reviews live on the recipe itself, so "this helped" is always one click from "cook it tonight". These are some of the most helpful this month.
"The 3am wake-ups were wrecking me. Eight weeks of the salmon and the overnight oats and I'm down from five bad nights a week to two. My husband cooks the Friday one now."
"Sceptical about the soya thing, but I gave the tofu traybake and edamame salads a proper month. Flushes went from daily to a couple a week. Could be coincidence; I don't care, I'm keeping it."
"Two teenagers who'd riot at 'menopause food'. The trick was the planner's kid-approved flags; they think it's just dinner. My 3pm slump is mostly gone and nobody noticed the lentils."
"Learning my rage-week was the five days before my period changed everything. Now the planner front-loads the steady-blood-sugar meals that week and I stopped apologising to everyone on Thursdays."
Not everything fits under a recipe. The board is where members compare notes on sleep, cycles, GP appointments and feeding sceptical families; threaded, searchable, and human-moderated.
The 3am crowd. Wind-down routines, bedding, what to eat and when.
Swaps, batch wins, planner talk and "what do I do with this fennel".
Irregular cycles, rage week, brain fog, and what your data shows.
Preparing for appointments, sharing experiences; never medical advice.
Lifting for the first time at 47, walking groups, protein timing.
Scripts for the people around you: teenagers, partners, managers.

Greek yoghurt (the thick one), a scoop of ground flax and a handful of the toasted seed mix from the kitchen basics page. 22g before I've thought about it.

Tried this today with frozen cherries. Converted, thank you.

Leftovers. Nobody said breakfast has to be breakfast food; last night's dal with a spoon of yoghurt is my most repeated morning meal.

Reading is open to everyone. Posting takes a free account and a pseudonym is fine.
