Method

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 190C fan; line a loaf tin.

  2. Step 2

    Mix all the dry ingredients.

  3. Step 3

    Stir in honey and buttermilk to a thick batter.

  4. Step 4

    Scrape into the tin; scatter oats. Bake 45 to 50 minutes until hollow-sounding.

  5. Step 5

    Cool fully before slicing. Freezes sliced.
